Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vara has been actively involved in high performance computing in Thailand. At the KMUTNB, the high performance computing group, under his supervision, pursues research problems in the areas of high performance computing, performance evaluation of computer systems. The current research work include the simulation of 10Gbps high speed backbone for research and education.
